A good 20 or so Porsche owners enjoyed a day Karting, those who wanted to had an opportunity to drive their Porsche round the Clay Pigeon Kart Circuit. Those who did so took their place in two groups of cars and enjoyed a five lap parade.

Local TVR owners had been up first and then the Porsche Owners, after the parades the serious work of Karting was about to begin. You can get a taste of the day from the pics below,

all the drivers were given a safety briefing and then undertook a practice session, after a gap (REST) the racing began. Each team had an equal number of drivers who took the wheel of the Kart for a 15 minute session, the day was hot, the track was hot, we were hot. Those racing were melting in front of us.

The day's Karting was backing the Local Dorset And Somerset Air Ambulance, a very worthy cause indeed, well done to those who organised the Porsche event and all the other helpers who made the day possible.

WELL DONE ALL, please set up a repeat event for next year.
