Unfortunately due to very heavy, non-stop rain at Popham, Nick declined his opportunities to walk round in the rain taking pictures, sorry. As you will see in the 5th picture the heavens were just starting to open up on our very cleanly prepared Porsches. Some you lose! All of us that travelled from the Weymouth / Dorchester area had a great time sharing Porsche stories under the R17 Hants, Wilts and Dorset Gazebos. Alans View - Only five of us braved the rain on the run to Popham Air Show; sadly abandoned due to the heavy rain, a shame as it was very interesting, a MUST for next year. In complete contrast the weather was perfect for the run to Bowood (R16 concours). The six from Dorchester, Noel, Alan, Colin, Nick and myself plus Trefor & Claire enjoyed a largely traffic free run. Chris had gone earlier with 944 to prepare, well worth it since he won the class! Congratulations to Nick also for a win, not bad for a disbanded region!
