Return To Car Show Selection

I must start by saying SORRY, no 997 or Boxster Coupe on  show at The Sunday Times Motor Show, but the all new Turbo S was on show, in both formats, Coupe and Cabriolet.

What a day, the traffic was horrendous on the way up (luckily in the opposite direction). We arrived and were parked near to the Halls, Porsche in Hall 6, a terrific stand but sadly as said already no 997 or Boxster Coupe on show, my heart sank when I heard that the first Car Show to get the cars will be PARIS.

It's not just the farm quota's we lose out at! The Porsche area of Hall 6 was very impressive, at the rear were a fully loaded Cayenne S and a lovely Guards Red Boxster.

The Porsche shop was doing brisk business and the staff around the whole area were very helpful. The numbers of people let in to the stand at one time were manageable, a great day out.

Thank you Chapelgate Porsche for our VIP tickets, the refreshments were a welcoming oasis in a very hot car show.
